TapMap Daily ("the app", "we", "us") is published by Ropolabs. We built TapMap Daily so you can play a quick daily geography game. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the game, never sell your personal data, and let you delete your data at any time.

1. Playing without an account

You can play the daily puzzle without creating an account. In that case we keep an anonymous device identifier so we can save your progress, coins, and streak on your device and server-side. No name or email is required to play.

2. What we collect

• Gameplay data: your daily results, scores, streak, coin balance, purchases, and settings.
• Account data (optional): if you sign in — with email, Apple, or Google — we store your email address and an account identifier so your progress syncs across devices.
• Device & technical data: a device/installation identifier, app version, and basic diagnostics used for saving progress, preventing fraud/abuse, and fixing crashes.
• Purchase data: a purchase/transaction identifier from Apple or Google used to verify and deliver your purchase. We never receive or store your card, bank, or UPI details.

3. How we use it

We use this information to run the game: deliver the daily puzzle, save your progress and coins, sync across devices, operate the leaderboard, verify purchases, show and (for paying users) remove ads, prevent cheating and abuse, and provide support. We do not use your data to make decisions that produce legal effects about you.

4. Advertising

The free version of TapMap Daily is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Ad partners may process a device advertising identifier to show and measure ads. You can limit ad personalisation in your device settings, and the one-time Remove Ads upgrade turns ads off entirely. See Google's advertising policies.

5. Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it to train third-party AI models. We share limited data only with service providers who help us operate the game:

• Apple & Google — app distribution, payments, and purchase verification.
• Google AdMob — advertising in the free version.
• Our hosting & authentication providers — to store game data and manage sign-in.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your installation or account is active. You can delete your account and associated data from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), or by emailing [email protected]. On deletion we remove your personal data, subject to a short retention period where needed for legal, security, or anti-fraud purposes, after which it is purged.

7. Children

TapMap Daily is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected].

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
